Oil-based inks enable the application on porous surfaces such as paper and cardboard, both white and coloured (Brown Kraft), provided that they are not coated. This system employs 128, 384 and 512 dots printheads and a 180 DPI (dots per inch) resolution, thereby obtaining a printing area height of 16, 54 and 72 mm for each abovementioned printhead. Thanks to the employment of piezoelectric technology, the HD Code Printer is reliable and versatile, an ideal solution to meet the most various printing requirements as it can manage up to 2 printheads which can be either freestanding or coupled together. This option enables to extend the printing height up to 144 mm, plus it treats the printing layout as a single entity. The software divides the printing layout into stripes which are transmitted to the printheads in order not to create defects between their lines of contact. Thanks to its compact size and universal mounting position, it can be easily integrated in many systems and production lines.
